Description: Today’s mobile terminals are equipped with more than one network interface such as Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, Wi-Max and Ethernet. The variety of access technologies offer users a great deal of flexibility to connect to the Internet. Multi-homing and mobility are becoming the focal point in protocol design. Mobility support allows users to be constantly connected, even when they are on the go. Multi-homing utilizes resources from the available interfaces in an efficient manner. Depending on the access technology associated with each interface, a mobile host can be connected to the Internet by an infrastructure network or through an ad-hoc network. The MMFI 2011 workshop is an opportunity for researchers working on multi-homing and/or mobility for the future Internet to present scientific results, exchange experiences and highlight future directions.

Description:
The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) program is a universal initiative whose objective is to add information and communication technology to transport infrastructure and vehicles. It aims to manage different factors in order to improve safety and comfort to drivers/passengers, and reduce transportation times and fuel costs. With the advances in wireless communications technology and positioning systems many applications could become a reality.
ITS topics are attracting more and more academic and industrial players. The goal of UBIROADS'2011 is to offer a unique forum to bring together researchers and professionals from academia, government and industry to share and discuss ideas, visions, applications and new results related to ITS issues.
